...or jandals as we call them in NZ....
It's been hard to believe this week we are in the midst of winter with the warm days we've had lately demanding I swap my shoes for jandals. Next week however is bringing rain and lots of it so best make the most of it!
Our house is full of the coughs & colds at the moment - no doubt it was caught off someone at playgroup or kindy, where we share much fun and germs with our friends there. Speaking of which, here is Miss 2 painting a picture at the craft table. Painting is her favourite activity.
Don't forget the cushions Mum!
Other than perfecting ones tidying skills, one also enjoys making popcorn with dad...
....all dressed up for 'Melody Makers', a dancing & singing feast with her friends before enjoying morning tea with them (which appears to be her favourite component of the morning)

Speaking of morning tea, here she is helping mum make oatcakes.
(We can't get Nairn's here... well, not at least at an affordable price!)
Maisie had her 2nd birthday this week, and along with many wonderful presents that she has been enjoying playing with, she is also keeping warm in the mornings with her bathrobe from GAD. (Great Aunty Di!)... oh..... and mums slippers.......
I'll leave you with a photo of the Peppa Pig cake cutting (I think I've started at the wrong end of the scale - next year I think it'll be a square cake. With some icing. Made the night before.)
